गुण

*न हि जन्मनि ज्येष्ठत्वं गुणैर्ज्येष्ठत्वमुच्यते।*

*गुणाद् गुरूत्वमायाति दुग्धं दधि घृतं यथा॥*

श्रेष्ठता जन्म से नहीं आती वरन गुणों के कारण होती है। दही, दूध, घी; ये सब एक ही कुल के हैं, तथापि सब के मूल्य अलग अलग होते है।

Superiority does not come from birth but because of the qualities. Curd, Milk, Ghee; these are all of the same lineage, however the value of each is different.
